This time, when I came to Xinxiang to connect with the industrial park project, my colleagues chose a fast hotel next to the high-speed railway station, and I confirmed New Century Grand Hotel XinXiang. I only saw that it is within a 15 minute drive from several core industrial parks. After staying for three days, I realized that this old high-end hotel in northern Henan has perfectly handled all the essential needs of business trips, even providing a bit more composure during rush hour days.
Get out of Xinxiang East Station and take a taxi for 10 minutes directly to the hotel entrance, without having to detour on congested roads in the east area. The check-in process is smooth and not cumbersome. Within two minutes of verifying the information, the front desk staff explained the morning rush hour traffic avoidance routes of the surrounding industrial park, the free printing quota of the hotel's 24-hour business center, and the reservation rules for different sized conference rooms clearly. They even reminded me of the pick-up routes that local customers often take the next day, saving me a lot of trouble in temporary communication.
The layout of the 42 square meter room completely hits all the pain points of business travelers: a 1.4-meter-wide solid wood office area is reserved by the window, and network cable interfaces and multi specification fast charging sockets are all within reach, without having to squat on the ground and search for power strips. The lumbar support of the ergonomic office chair is very strong, and even after two nights of revising the project cooperation plan until early morning, the waist was not as sore as usual. 来新乡逛太行山前，特意选了东区的New Century Grand Hotel XinXiang，本只图它离高铁站近、去万仙山的接驳方便，住完两晚才发现，这栋新乡人眼熟的老牌高端酒店，完全是藏在城市里的度假缓冲带，把豫北小城的踏实和妥帖，完完整整递到了住客手里。
从新乡东站打车10分钟就到酒店，远远看见开阔的门前广场，推开挑高的大堂玻璃门，瞬间就把赶路的燥热和疲惫隔在了身后。前台的姑娘带着温和的笑意，核对信息的间隙，主动给我推荐了高区朝湖的房间，说能避开楼下的车流声，还顺手塞给我一张手写的周边指南，把去太行山的自驾避堵路线、酒店附近藏着的红焖羊肉老店都标得清清楚楚，连第二天早上去景区的早餐打包服务都提前和我确认了。
推开40多平的房间，第一感受就是敞亮，暖调的新中式装修没有半点压抑感，临窗的大落地窗正对着酒店自带的人工湖，风从湖面吹过来，带着湿润的水汽，远处的城市天际线铺在视野里，完全没有闹市区的拥挤感。1.8米的床品蓬松柔软，前一天赶高铁的疲惫，躺下去没十分钟就散了大半。卫生间的空间格外宽裕，干湿分离做得彻底，恒温花洒的热水秒出，冲去一身赶路的风尘，整个人瞬间就松弛下来。
最惊喜的是酒店的体验感，自带的湖畔步道傍晚走起来格外舒服，湖边的柳树垂在水面上，散步的住客慢悠悠晃着，连风都裹着豫北小城的慢节奏。餐厅的本地菜做得格外地道，新乡特色的红焖羊肉炖得软烂入味，连现蒸的槐花包子都带着山野的清鲜，不用特意跑出去找老字号，在酒店就能吃到地道的本地味。第二天赶早去万仙山，提前和前台说一声，打包好的热早餐早就等在门口，拿着就能直接上车，不用慌慌张张赶时间。
周边的便利度也拉满：步行10分钟就是新乡的核心商圈，逛完街拎着东西慢悠悠走回酒店，完全不用挤晚高峰的车流。酒店自带的超大免费停车场，自驾去太行山的朋友，停好车收拾装备就能直接出发，完全不用在周边找车位。
当然作为开业多年的老牌酒店，部分公共区域的装修带着成熟的质感，没有网红酒店花里胡哨的打卡装置。但这些完全不重要，两晚住下来，我完全没有住陌生城市的疏离感，反倒像在新乡有个妥帖的落脚点，把去太行山前的缓冲时光，过得舒服又踏实。下次再来新乡逛南太行，我肯定第一时间订回这里。Show more
